GroWell is rooted in legacy.

Inspired by the name and spirit of a beloved grandmother, Grovinia, affectionately known as Gro, this practice honors the generational wisdom carried by women who nurtured, healed, and sustained their families and communities long before holistic care became a movement. Gro symbolizes growth, grounding, and ancestral strength. Well represents wholeness, restoration, and intentional healing.

Founded by a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, wife, mother, and African American woman, GroWell was created in response to the gaps often experienced in traditional healthcare, especially in women’s health. Too often, symptoms are minimized, care feels rushed, and the deeper story behind health concerns goes unheard.

At GroWell, we believe healing begins with listening. Our approach prioritizes root-cause healing by blending functional and holistic medicine with modern clinical standards, while honoring spiritual wellness, cultural context, and generational knowledge. Although women’s health is at the heart of our practice, we are open to caring for anyone seeking a holistic, patient-centered approach to wellness.

Through telehealth, GroWell removes barriers to care and meets patients where they are, providing thoughtful, aligned care that supports healing beyond the physical. This is a space for balance, restoration, and empowerment, where patients are encouraged to reconnect with their bodies, their intuition, and their inherited resilience.

GroWell is more than a medical practice.
It is a return to rooted healing.
It is care guided by science and grounded in legacy.
It is a place where growth, alignment, and wellness meet.
